CATHOLICISM – THE PIVOTAL PLAYERS
The Adult Faith Formation Class has finished their study of Bishop Robert Barron’s “Catholicism – The Pivotal Players”, and the CDs are now available to anyone wishing to borrow them. There are SIX CDs in this set, and you may check them out from the Parish Library one at a time for a period of up to 2 weeks each. Please do not check out more than one CD at a time, and please fill out the orange library cards, per the instructions next to the box set.
The CDs will be located in the upper corner of the far right book case, and are enclosed in a blue box. Each CD comprises several lessons, and involves approximately 75 minutes of viewing time.
The six “Pivotal Players” in this series are: Saint Francis of Assisi; Saint Thomas Aquinas; Saint Catherine of Siena; Blessed John Henry Newman; G.K. Chesterton; and Michelangelo. We found them all to be delightful, and thought provoking, but our favorites were probably St. Catherine, and Michelangelo. All of them are worth a second (and third) viewing, in the opinion of the class.
